Teaching online classes which may include but not be limited to the following:
ETHM411/511 Introduction to Ethnomusicology
ETHM512 Field of Ethnomusicology
ETHM513 Anthropology of Music
ETHM531 Resources and Materials in Ethnomusicology
ETHM650 Research Methodology
ETHM54_ Ethnic Music Seminar (author’s regional/topical specialization)
ETHM611 Arts in Global Engagement
WRSP811 Principles of Ethnodoxology
WRSP812 Theological and Cultural Contextualization in Worship
Minimum Qualifications
Doctoral Degree in Ethnomusicology or closely related field like Musicology, Ethnodoxology, or Global Studies.
Preferred Qualifications
Doctoral Degree in Ethnomusicology or closely related field like Musicology, Ethnodoxology, or Global Studies.
Experience mentoring/advising fieldwork projects and graduate theses.
Fieldwork/Research experience in one or more regional specialization.
Strong collaborative skills.
University teaching experience.
Work Hours
Flexible—Usually 10 – 15 hours a week online/per class
