About the Opportunity:
The Associate Digital Creative Manager is responsible for creative digital efforts for the College and has knowledge of the latest technological trends, has the ability to use metrics to shape digital strategy, and has the ability to craft unique online user experiences.

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Associate Creative Director, the Associate Digital Creative Manager will lead and manage the creative digital efforts for the College, ensuring consistent branding and professional creativity throughout all communications that express the school's voice in the marketplace, including web, social media, photo, and video.

In partnership with the Associate Creative Director, the Associate Digital Creative Manager will design, develop, and provide oversight to the school's digital content, including the external website, e-newsletters, blogs, and other various social media strategies, acting as a creative resource and colleague for the Marketing and Communications Department as a whole.

The Associate Digital Creative Manager, in collaboration with the Associate Creative Director, is responsible for managing the maintenance, content updating, development and expansion of the College of Arts, Media and Design's website - both content and technical aspects - while keeping with the established style guidelines that have been developed. The Associate Digital Creative Manager will manage student workers and assign and oversee website tasks and projects through completion.

In addition, the Associate Digital Creative Manager for CAMD will have wide-ranging experience in videography and photography. CAMD's website will have numerous opportunities to display short, topic-driven videos and the College and departments have a constant need of new video and photography on the web. They will have experience with video editing software, such as Final Cut Pro and the Adobe Suite. They will manage the photography and videography production along with the library/organization of all assets.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree preferred, in website development, computer science, information systems, communications or a related field and 4-6 years related work experience. Experience with video editing software such as Final Cut Pro and the Adobe Suite, as well as digital photography experience required. Previous experience in higher ed a plus. Must have professional experience with web content management and strong proofreading skills.

Must also be able to acquire and understand technical information, as well as communicate complex technical information to audiences of varying technological skill. Excellent organizational and project management skills are needed, including project conceptualization, project goals, scope, participant responsibilities, delivery dates, project follow-up, and evaluation. Strong ability to manage multiple assignments while working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment are required.

The ability to maintain and extend our CMS, both independently and in partnership with outside vendors when needed, is essential. This requires fluency in WordPress themes, architecture and plugins; working knowledge of general IT/web infrastructure and experience with various web technologies. Familiarity with modern web development pipeline technologies, especially Git version control, preferred. Experience with SEO, SEM and website analytics. Strong troubleshooting, customer service, creativity and problem solving, time management, attention to detail and interpersonal skills are required, including patience with non-technical staff. The ability to maintain a positive attitude and work well independently, within a team environment and with external vendors as well as a variety of internal audiences is essential.
