The Department of Psychological Science at Weber State University (http://weber.edu/psychology) invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor position in Biopsychology. There are existing facilities for behavioral neuroscience research (e.g., animal vivarium, wet lab, etc.).
The candidate should demonstrate the ability and interest to teach courses in the psychology curriculum, with opportunities to teach in the Neuroscience Program. Additionally, candidates should have a strong commitment to undergraduate education and experience mentoring students in research.
Candidates with a Ph.D. by July 1, 2021 will be given preference, but strong ABDs will be considered.

Weber State University is located in Ogden, Utah, 35 miles north of Salt Lake City, at the foot of the Wasatch Mountains. The area has many year-round outdoor recreational activities, with Snowbasin (Olympic skiing venue) less than 20 miles away.

Visual Acuity Requirements including color, depth perception and field of vision: Required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; using a computer terminal; extensive reading.
