Position Function
The Chief Client Services Officer has oversight of the Client Services team within Marketing & Communications. The Chief Client Services Officer is responsible for managing a team of Client Services professionals to ensure the Marketing & Communications division is providing excellent services to the colleges and units within the University and our clients outside of the University.
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
Minimum Experience
Experience leading a marketing and communications team or a customer service team, with at least three years of professional experience.
Minimum Other
Excellent interpersonal and project management skills; an ability to clearly and persuasively communicate concepts and ideas; proficiency with computer applications common in a communication setting such as Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Acrobat, and project management software/systems.
Authorization to work in the US
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Education
Master’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, project management, business, or related field from an accredited institution.
Preferred Experience
Supervisory experience; at least five years of professional experience in a marketing, public relations, advertising public relations agency, not-for-profit organization, customer service, or university environment.
Preferred Other
Demonstrated mastery of professional project management protocols in marketing and communications production management.
