With funded education and training programs, health research projects, and community engagement at CoHD, the research assistant will work closely with the Director of Evaluation and Assessment, assisting in the data collection and analysis, and report writing. The research assistant will be part of the evaluation team to help successfully implement and meet the deadlines for all research and evaluation activities.
Major responsibilities are performing data collection and analysis including online survey creation and administration, interview recordings transcription, data cleaning, using quantitative and qualitative data analysis software (Excel, SPSS, Nvivo) to analyze data collected, presenting the analysis results, results interpretation and write-up, and other duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and collaboration skills
Excellent analytical skills
Ability to conduct and prioritize multiple tasks.
Experience in research methodology and data analysis required.
Strong organization, writing, and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team
Demonstrated data collection skills (e.g. interviewing, observation, focus group moderation, and surveying)
Proficiency with relevant quantitative and qualitative data analysis platforms (e.g. Excel, SPSS, Nvivo).
Experience with data management and analysis
Experience writing evaluation and research reports
