Associate Dean for Graduate Enrollment

Reporting directly to the Vice Provost for Graduate Research and Dean of the Graduate College, the Associate Dean participates in leadership and management of the Graduate College with a focus on developing strategic direction and by managing the implementation of assigned projects to meet strategic services provided to students throughout and after their matriculation at NC A&T State University. The Associate Dean integrates all aspects of the Graduate College's enrollment and retention processes including the implementation and evaluation of effective student-centered recruitment, selection, matriculation, retention, and graduation; provides highly effective data analysis to drive decisions supporting recruitment, retention, and graduation; participates in the recruitment and admissions strategy; achieves enrollment goals and implements growth strategies to meet enrollment targets; develops productive partnerships with schools/colleges and departments, develops productive partnerships with external stakeholders; and utilizes technology to establish and maintain best practices in recruitment and retention. The Associate Dean will also ensure that appropriate faculty, staff, and other necessary resources are in place to provide and assess effective services to students on graduate enrollment matters, which enhance academic achievement and the ultimate graduation of students. Also, the Associate Dean will work with the Vice Provost for Graduate Research and Dean of the Graduate College to ensure that the strategic initiatives of the unit are successfully implemented.
