Description

The Department of Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin seeks to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary/non-tenure track, part-time positions to teach undergraduate and graduate courses. Positions are part-time, contingent upon student enrollment and the availability of funding, and are not available every year. Assignments are usually made on a semester-by-semester basis. Positions are annually renewable, contingent on funding and performance.

Qualifications

A PhD in engineering or a related field is required, but exceptions can be made for applicants with a Master's degree and pertinent expertise and work experience. Previous teaching and/or training experience is preferred. Industry work experience is considered an advantage. Applicants are desired with expertise and desire to teach in any area of petroleum engineering. Full and part time positions are available. SALARY: Dependent on position and qualifications.
