Georgia College is accepting applications for the Director of Student Health Services.  

Primary Function of Organizational Unit

Under the direction of the Vice President for Student Life, the Director acts as a senior administrator of Health Services. Working collaboratively with the staff of Health Services and Health Promotion, within the division of Student Life, the Director assumes administrative responsibility for the development, modification, and administration of programs necessary to meet the needs of students utilizing Health Services. The Director shares with the Student Life staff responsibility for the fostering of excellence in programs and professional services offered within the division of Student Life.

Primary Purpose of Position

Working collaboratively with the Health Services staff as well as the Office of Health Promotion, the Director is responsible for providing administrative leadership for campus Health Services. The Health Services Director is responsible for developing and implementing Student Health Services goals in alignment with goals of the division of Student Life, giving special attention to the specific objectives of Health Services. The director provides leadership for Health Services and Health Promotion working collaboratively with associated staff, Student Life staff, and GC Administration in the development of policies and procedures.
