Position Summary:
The Costume Studio Artisan will assist and support the Costume Studio Supervisor in the execution of hands on practicum courses in the costume studio and its adjacent spaces. Reports to the Costume Studio Supervisor.

Degree and Area of Specialization:
Undergraduate degree in theatre, Costume or Fashion Design preferred.
Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:
At least two years' experience mentoring students in costume construction, stitching, draping, fitting, alterations and costume budgeting for productions preferred. At least two years of professional experience in costume construction, stitching, fitting, alterations and wardrobe for productions, and experience as a Costume Designer preferred.
Additional Information:
This position may be extended or made renewable depending on funding and department need.
