Description: Per course adjunct for the Doctorate in Educational Leadership program's course, EDAD 608-01.

Qualifications:
EDAD 608-01 - Quantitative Research Design
Fridays: March 26, 2021, April 16, 2021, May 7, 2021, 6:00pm - 10:00pm
Saturdays: March 27, 2021, April 17, 2021, May 8, 2021, 9:00am - 5:00pm
This, the first of four courses in the Community-Based Research sequence, explores the principles and methods of descriptive and inferential statistics. The course provides an overview of quantitative research design including survey construction and management of data. Students will collaborate with a Community Partner to develop research questions. This course will also help students become critical consumers of educational research and to encourage them to become practitioner-researchers that base their work on inquiry and reflection. Students will gain experience with statistical software.
Required Qualifications:
Earned doctorate in educational leadership or related field
Demonstrated experience in teaching at the doctoral level
Willingness and experience with online and remote teaching strategies
Knowledge of quantitative research methods, especially survey design
Proficiency in evaluating empirical research
Background in statistics and data analysis
Proficiency in SPSS
Desired Qualifications:
Prior experience working with community-based organizations as a external partner
