About the Opportunity:
Performs basic or applied research of a limited scope, primarily using existing theories and methods. Assists the supervisor in the interpretation and publication of results and grants. Maintains the laboratory and may exercise functional supervision over supporting research staff. Primary responsibility is ensuring that the research is complete.

Responsibilities:
Conduct research in the areas of Software Engineering, focusing on the development of algorithms for automating the testing of software. Duties include: design and implementation of algorithms, conducting experimental evaluations, reporting results in documents and submitting these for review to scientific conferences and journals, and presenting results at scientific venues. Duties may also include mentoring PhD students, MS students, and undergraduate students, and assisting the PIs with lectures on topics related to the conducted research.

Qualifications:
Must have a Ph.D. or equivalent; be able to undertake substantially full-time research or scholarship; work under the supervision of a senior scholar.

Candidates should have a publication record that demonstrates affinity with the proposed research.
