Gannon University's Morosky College of Health Professions and Sciences welcomes applications for a full-time Program Director and faculty member for the Respiratory Care program located in Erie, Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will provide effective leadership for the CoARC-accredited programs including but not limited to responsibility for communication, ongoing program planning and assessment, and fiscal management. Responsibilities will include assisting with the preparation of an ongoing self-study for the CoARC-accredited, entry-level Bachelor of Science degree in respiratory care and Polysomnography Certificate programs. The individual will participate in curriculum development and provide didactic, laboratory, and clinical instruction. Release time will be available to support the administrative functions of the position. Position Requirements: Candidates are required to possess or actively be pursuing a master's degree from an academic institution accredited by a regional or national accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (USDE); must hold a valid Registered Respiratory Therapy (RRT) credential and current state license; must have a minimum of four years' experience as a RRT, with at least two years of experience in clinical respiratory care; must have a minimum of two years' experience teaching in a CoARC-accredited respiratory care program as either an appointed faculty member or as a clinical instructor/preceptor for students enrolled in such programs; and must be able to complete the CoARC Key Personnel Training Program in a timely manner upon hire.
