The Department of Management in Mays Business School at Texas A&M University seeks to hire a full-time, tenured/tenure-track colleague in the area of Strategy, Entrepreneurship, and/or Organizational Behavior beginning in fall of 2021. This position is for the rank of Assistant Professor. This is a 9-month academic appointment beginning fall 2021, with summer support commensurate with the position and qualifications. Duties include a 3 course teaching load per academic year, working with and mentoring doctoral students, publishing in top-tier management journals, and professional service commensurate with an assistant professor.

Candidates for this position should possess an earned doctorate in management or a related discipline and a strong record of scholarly contributions in the desired specializations. The successful candidate should have an established high-quality impactful research record and demonstrated continued potential for publishing high quality research in leading journals. We are interested in individuals who are committed to excellence in teaching and to the importance of collegiality. The individual will be expected to teach a 3-course load per academic year. Teaching opportunities exist at the graduate (PhD and masters) and undergraduate levels. Being committed to working actively with PhD students is also expected of the individual chosen to fill the position. Service expectations are generally at the departmental level and will be commensurate with a junior faculty member.
