Postdoctoral Fellow in Drug Discovery at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
JOB DESCRIPTION
A self-motivated biochemist with the desire to help lead an NIH-funded program in anticancer drug discovery is sought. The candidate will work on the interfaces of synthetic chemistry and cell biology to solve challenges in cisplatin resistant small molecule drug discovery.
Experience in both organic synthesis and cell biology is essential, as are excellent oral and written communication skills and a talent for project leadership. Experience with drug discovery, such as high throughput screening, photoaffinity labelling, confocal microscopy, computer aided drug design, and/or structural biology, is a plus.
