The Department of Comparative Cultural Studies at the University of Houston is an interdisciplinary department that is home to curricular programs in Anthropology, Liberal Studies, and Religious Studies. We seek to hire an outstanding scholar and teacher with an active agenda of research and publication in any area of comparative cultural studies, whose academic work would enhance and amplify intellectual synergies in the department and whose teaching could ideally contribute to more than one of our programs.

Qualifications :

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in an appropriate discipline or interdisciplinary field, or provide evidence of progress toward completion of the degree and confirmation that the Ph.D. will have been awarded by May 2021
