Under the direction of the Vice President of University Relations, the Director of Multimedia Production and Strategy (Director IV) organizes, plans and directs the creation of multimedia content to effectively promote the University. The Director is a digital storyteller first and is responsible for directing all video and photography, as well as other digital media assets used in marketing, public relations and live events. The Director develops strategies and goals for the unit; creates policies and procedures for all work operations; supervises staff and contractors; executes video and other multimedia projects; and works with other members of the University Relations team to share the Kean story through all channels. This position requires travel and a flexible schedule including evening and weekend hours.

Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelor’s degree and two years of related professional experience is required, preferably in higher education, public relations, journalism or another field. Experience shooting and editing video is essential. This position requires the physical ability to perform essential functions including, but not limited to: the ability to physically lift, bend, move and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
