Assistant Professor - Hospitalist
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a highly qualified physician to join the Division of Obstetric and Gynecologic Hospitalists at the Texas Children's Hospital Pavilion for Women (PFW).
Responsibilities will be assigned by your Chair and Division Director and may be altered in response to changing Departmental and Division needs.
Candidate will be expected to work approximately thirteen, 12-hour clinical shifts per month at the Pavilion for Women at Texas Children's Hospital. There will also be an expectation to participate in research and educational activities in the department.
All faculty are expected to participate in the education mission of the College.
Candidate must agree to discharge their duties and responsibilities faithfully, to abide by all rules, regulations, and policies and to devote to the performance of your duties and responsibilities the amount of time and effort for which you are employed by the College.
- Education: Must have an MD degree. Must be Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology by American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG).
- Required Certification/Licenses/Registration: Unrestricted license to practice medicine from the Texas Medical Board
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in clinical practice.
