Job Description

Applications are invited for a post-doctoral associate position in simulation, machine learning, and statistical computing. The candidate will work on an NSF-sponsored project that aims to develop computational approaches for bat-inspired drones. The duties of the postdoctoral associate include method and algorithm development, simulation and data analysis. The duration of the position is one year. The Postdoctoral Associate will be primarily supervised by Dr. Hongxiao Zhu.

Required Qualifications

Prospective applicants should have: (1) A Ph.D. degree in computer science, statistics, computer engineering, or a related discipline; (2) Extensive experience in coding with Python, MATLAB and C++.

Preferred Qualifications

A good mathematical/statistical background; knowledge about Computer Graphics is ideal.
