Position Primary Purpose and General Responsibilities

The data manager for the Muscular Dystrophy Translational Research Programs lab will serve as a central data manager for several large consortiums in muscular dystrophy. The data manager will be responsible for creation of data bases to be used in multicenter natural history and clinical trials, quality control checks within the database and preparing pooled data for export to investigators and Sponsors. Performs data management activities in support of clinical research studies from study start-up to database lock in accordance with requirements in the study protocol and GCP . Ensures accurate and consistent handling of clinical data.

It would be preferred if the data manager could perform descriptive statistics for these data sets.

Minimum Hiring Standards

A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant program
Prior experience with coding. Prior experience with data management. Familiarity with CFR11, data compliance
Ability to collaborate with team members
Ability to manage multiple programs or projects at once
Ability to work in a diverse, fast paced, demanding environment efficiently

Preferred Hiring Standards

Ability to perform descriptive statistics
A Master’s degree in a relevant program
