Position Title Journalism and Public Relations - Adjunct Position Summary
California Baptist University is an evangelical Christian university affiliated with the California Southern Baptist Convention. The department of Communication Arts is seeking instructors to teach Journalism and Public Relations courses.
Candidates must embrace the mission of California Baptist University and evidence a clear understanding of, and commitment to, excellence in teaching through the integration of the Christian faith and learning.
Qualifications
Applicants should be familiar with current journalistic and public relations guidelines and up-to-date technologies for writing, researching, photojournalism, reporting, and layout and design. They should also be familiar with public relations concepts involving research, planning, implementation, and evaluation in relation to campaigns. Applicants should hold MA in Journalism, Public Relations, or equivalent professional experience in journalism and public relations; university teaching experience is preferred.
