Job Summary

The SRC Office Assistant will work under the guidance of Science Resource Center Director and with the tutors of the SRC to coordinate the activities of the center and ensure a safe and friendly learning environment for students; complete day to day duties using effective communication, organizational and time management skills; and perform confidential and specialized duties accurately.

Required Qualifications

-High school graduate or equivalent
-Two years of related work experience in an academic or closely-related work setting
-Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills including the ability to meet with students from a variety of backgrounds
-Proficiency in the use of personal computer
-Proficiency in Word and Excel
