Position Primary Purpose and General Responsibilities

Responsible for the data collection for a large federally funded research grant, the Traumatic Brain Injury ( TBI ) Model System (MS). Coordinates, schedules, and completes patient interviews/testing for research purposes. Tracks patient follow-up. Serves as back-up to the Project Coordinator for the Resilience and Adjustment Intervention in the coordination of grant activities. Codes and enters data into a variety of computer databases. Assists in the preparation of manuscripts to submit to refereed journals, furthering our research efforts.

Minimum Hiring Standards

Familiarity with psychological testing.
Computer skills including proficient use of Word for Windows and Microsoft Access.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Experience in a clinical and/or research setting.
Experience in medical record review or working directly with medical terminology.

Preferred Hiring Standards

Bachelor’s degree in psychology, biology, or equivalent.
