Job Description:

The C4 Coordinator will work with schools and cultural organizations throughout Berkshire County to activate the Action Plan outlined in the Berkshire County Blueprint for Arts Education and Integration. This role will manage the C4 committees and oversee the administration of the Berkshire Cultural Asset Network and will work with MCLA, the Superintendents' Roundtable, and the Berkshire County Education Task Force to create a dynamic county-wide approach to professional development in the arts. In addition, the coordinator will manage a digital portal for arts integration and education resources (Berkshire Regional Arts Integration Network--Brainworks.mcla.edu).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate Collective Impact involvement with Berkshire County Education Task Force
  • Oversee development and implementation of and coordination podcast series (exploring connections to creativity across sectors) including logistics support, identification of people to be interviewed, and posting of content
  • Oversee the continuation of C4 committees designed to activate the Blueprint including Community Engagement, Professional Development, Career Readiness, and Social Emotional Learning
  • Foster Connections between C4 Initiatives, BRAINworks, the Institute for the Arts and Humanities and Berkshire Cultural Resource Center.
  • Make and maintain connections between local arts community and participating educational institutions
  • Serve as administrator of BCAN
  • Serve as administrator of the BRAINworks website to assure that it serves as an up to date, comprehensive source of information about all arts education and integration opportunities throughout Berkshire County
  • Increase awareness/secure commitments of partners through informational meetings and outreach
  • Design Trainings to advance BCAN goals
  • Maintain documentation of collective impact efforts and results
  • Help identify funding opportunities and provide programmatic information, as needed for funding opportunities



Requirements:
  • Experience with federal and/or state grant implementation
  • Experience with project design, management and review
  • Expertise in arts integration, arts education, and regional coordination
  • Track record with teacher professional development
  • High level of organizational skills
  • M.Ed. in education or arts field preferred



Additional Information:

This part-time (25 hours/week,) benefited position in the APA Bargaining Unit. Salary for this position is $35,568.00
