About the Opportunity:
The Media Planner and Analyst will own the Roux Institute's paid strategy including social ads, paid digital, paid search, etc. In coordination with the Central Marketing Communications team, they will manage channel selection and implementation, the creative process (photography, copy, etc.), the budget, the test and learn plan, and performance analysis/reporting. Experience with scheduling, measurement, and listening tools is essential.

Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and develop advertising strategies for the Roux Institute to meet established goals
  • Monitor online and offline ad campaigns (e.g. on radio, digital display, OOH)
  • Collect all specifications and release all assets to media partners
  • Regularly report campaign results
  • Optimize advertising strategies for varying audiences and channels
  • Design and review advertising budgets
  • Negotiate with media partners to close competitive deals
  • Develop and facilitate the contract approvals for all media buys
  • Create new campaigns to reach target audiences (as needed)
  • Ensure a cohesive advertising messaging across campaigns
  • Build long-term relationships with media influencers to promote our brand
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the university on learnings and best practices

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in communications or marketing
  • 4 to 6 years of previous experience as a Media Director, Media Planner, Media Manager, or similar role
  • Experience building effective cross channel advertising campaigns
  • Knowledge of different types of media channels (purchasing and KPIs for each)
  • Working knowledge of scheduling and analytics tools (e.g. Marketo, Salesforce, Google Analytics)
  • Experience with budget planning
  • Ability to manage, combine data from various sources and report out on campaign performance
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Appetite for learning and trying new things
  • Experience in higher ed marketing and enrollment a plus
