The Department of Political Science, International Affairs, and Public Administration at East Tennessee State University invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at the level of assistant professor beginning August 15, 2021.

The appointment carries a 3/3 teaching load, shared between the graduate Public Administration program and the undergraduate Political Science program and comes with generous startup funding designed to promote a promising research agenda which will lead to peer-reviewed publication. Candidates must also be capable of excellent teaching in graduate and undergraduate courses. Service to the department, university, profession, and community are also expected. We are seeking a candidate that can offer graduate classes in the Public Administration core and classes in the undergraduate subfields of American Politics OR Public Law.

Ph.D. in Public Administration or Political Science required. ABD will be accepted if the graduation date is prior to August 1, 2021.
