The University of North Alabama invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Entertainment Industry, beginning August 2021, to meet a growing student demand in the Department of Entertainment Industry.  The successful candidate is expected to have a full-time commitment to teaching, scholarship and service. Knowledge and experience of Pro Tools and other current software a plus. University-level teaching and industry experience is preferred. Area of specialization is entertainment industry classes and could include, but is not limited to, such areas as audio recording, record production, live production and promotion, music publishing, copyright law and management, label operations and artist management. Preference will be given to candidates who could cover multiple areas.

A Master's degree in a related area is a minimum to apply, a terminal degree is required for tenure. The successful candidate is expected to have a full-time commitment to teaching, scholarship, and service. Knowledge and experience of Pro Tools and other current software a plus. University-level teaching and industry experience is preferred.
