Senior Marketing Manager

The Opportunity

Reporting to Martin Head of Vertical Marketing you will join a team of passionate staff who are playing their part in making sure that we are Here for Good.

The SMM Business & Hospitality works closely with key stakeholders such as academics, sales, students and product teams to develop accurate, impactful and compliant product marketing across all channels. You will work closely with the Brand and Digital central marketing teams and external suppliers to take their campaigns to market. You will join a newly formed team and have the opportunity to make your mark from day 1.

On a typical day in this role you will:

  • Use sales and market data to inform strategic direction
  • Develop strategies and programs to achieve the lead and new enrolments targets and increase brand awareness
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns in digital, above the line advertising, social media, PR, experiential, publications and events
  • Drive vertical direction for the website, social media, EDM and SMS direct channels, plus sales tools, course guides and publications
  • Create and oversee production of amazing content for website, social media, direct marketing channels and collaterals
  • Develop and lead a team of 4
  • Assist the Head of Vertical Marketing in managing media and non-media budgets

  • This is a Fixed Term Permanent 8 month position based in Sydney.

    Who are you?
    To be successful in the Senior Marketing Manager position you will have:

  • At least 2 years in a senior marketing manager position
  • Experience in developing strategies and executing across the entire marketing mix including marketing planning, segmentation, campaign execution, events, online, direct marketing, social media, and PR.
  • Experience in developing strategies based on market insight and competitive analysis
  • Experience in planning and rolling out social media campaigns
  • Experience of marketing automation, CMS and CRM
  • Tertiary qualifications essential, education marketing experience desirable
  • Ability to think creatively and bring innovation
