Position Summary

A position is available in the Department of Epidemiology and Environmental Health, Women’s Health Initiative Research Center. The postdoctoral associate will work on research projects and extend their skill set focusing on women’s health and use of omics data including microbiome data under the direction of the Principal Investigator (Pl). Primary responsibilities include drafting and preparing manuscripts with the Pl from data sets on health outcomes, women’s health, cancer, osteoporosis, menopause, oral health, and oral microbiome and have an opportunity to lead and participate in manuscripts for publication in scholarly Journals. In addition, this position may include primary data collection, presenting research results at meetings, grant writing and preparing applications for submission to funding agencies, attendance at seminars and scientific meetings, and teaching or training students.
