A.T. Still University is seeking an Enrollment Services Coordinator for the Kirksville, MO campus. The Enrollment Services Coordinator reports to the Assistant Director Student Financial Aid-Enrollment Services and will be responsible for assisting in administering the University’s federal financial aid programs.

Major job duties include:

  • Daily responsibilities:
    • Coordinating financial aid packaging and processing
    • Sending award letters and follow-up
    • Complete review of ISIRs for all students (resolve SSN issues, selective service and default notices, etc.)
    • Complete private loan certifications
  • Weekly or monthly responsibilities:
    • Review aid adjustment due to scheduling changes
    • Track students' progress in FA process and notify them of incomplete steps
    • Review withdrawals and calculate return to Title IV refunds
    • Other duties as assigned
  • Occasional duties or responsibilities:
    • Cross train and provide back up support during peak times as requested
    • Remain current on all institutional, state, and federal regulations
    • Participate in regular Enrollment Services training and professional development on best practices to ensure compliance which may include minimal travel
    • Represent Enrollment Services at on-campus events as requested


Qualifications:

  • Experience and working knowledge of Federal Title IV and state financial aid regulations

  • Experience working in an administrative environment

  • Prior experience demonstrating good customer service skills

  • Proficient computer skills, using MS Word and Excel

  • Knowledge of financial aid management systems and/or student information systems (National Student Loan Data System-NSLDS, Communication Origination and Disbursement-COD, CampusNexus or similar student information system)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Must be detail-oriented, with the ability to self-manage a heavy student appointment schedule during peak times of the year

  • Strong computer skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to cultivate and manage relationships with students

  • Organized and able to work under pressure in order to meet work load

  • Ability to problem solve and collaborate with other departments

  • Ability to effectively communicate and enforce policies in a courteous tactful manner

  • Maintain confidential information



The starting pay range for this position is $14.38 per hour. Required application documentation includes cover letter, resume, and college transcripts.
