The Religion and Philosophy division of Pepperdine University's Seaver College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences, located in Malibu, California, invites applications for a one-year non-tenure-track visiting faculty position in New Testament for the 2021-2022 academic year. Candidates should have a Ph.D. completed or be at least ABD by August 1, 2021; teaching experience; an active research agenda; and a commitment to the Christian values of the University and the mission of Seaver College. The position requires both prior and ongoing active membership in a Church of Christ.  The primary responsibility is teaching multiple sections of the required general education course in the New Testament; teaching one or more sections of the comparable course in the Old Testament/Hebrew Bible is also possible.
