The COLLEGE OF SCIENCES at GEORGIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY invites applications for various open positions. Position: Administrative Manager II – 2 positions (220815 and 220806)
Job Purpose: Supervise and coordinate administrative services within a School. Areas of responsibility include administrative affairs associated with human resources, procurement, budgets and financial records and general clerical support within the School. Responsible for setting employee goals, assessing employee performance, providing feedback, and making pay recommendations. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: College and School management and staff. This position will advise and counsel: School management, faculty, and staff. This position will supervise: assigned administrative personnel.
Position: Grants Administrator Sr – 1 position (219645)
Job Purpose: Serve as the subject matter expert and advisor within an academic unit on matters related to sponsored research program administration in accordance with Institute and sponsor policies. Assist faculty with pre and post award grant activities including budget development, proposal preparation, sub-award initiation and accounting, and advise department financial staff on issues related to post-award grant management. This position will interact on a regular basis with: Faculty, staff, and outside sponsors. This position will advise and counsel: Faculty, staff, and students. This position requires CRA certification.
