Assistant Professor and Language Programme Coordinator
The Aga Khan University (International) in the United Kingdom is recruiting a full-time position for leading its upcoming Language Centre. The incumbent will have proven leadership skills with experience of establishing and managing successful revenue-generating programmes. The position will involve full academic duties including research, teaching and administration of language programmes.
Candidates should have a PhD with solid theoretical understanding in their area(s) of specialization along with demonstrated independent professional accomplishments and evidence of successful performance in teaching and scholarly activity. Strong knowledge of Arabic and Persian languages is required and preference will be given to candidates with the ability to develop programmes in national and regional languages spoken in Muslim societies.
