Administrative Assistant II - Graduate School 999283

Xavier University, a Catholic University in the Jesuit tradition, invites applicants for the position of Administrative Assistant II supporting the Office of the Graduate School. This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week.

The position provides administrative support overall to the Office of the Graduate School in graduate admission, enrollment, registration, comprehensive exam registration, and graduation registration, in order to ensure a seamless transition from admission to registration into graduate coursework. The position is responsible for answering heavy phone volume and assisting with walk-ins. The position performs various office duties to help in providing an efficient work environment. In addition, the position works closely with Xavier’s online recruitment contractor and online graduate programs. The position will gain knowledge of Xavier's various graduate programs and admissions procedures in order to answer questions effectively and verify graduate online admission materials are complete and transcripts are from accredited institutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 to 5 years experience in a related field.
