JOB DESCRIPTION

The University of Indianapolis Governor’s Emergency Education Relief (GEER) Fund Project is a two year project being administered by the Center of Excellence in Leadership of Learning (CELL). The University is accepting applications for a Project Coordinator - GEER. This is a full-time, exempt staff position. This project is a collaboration between CELL and the Central Indiana Education Service Center (CIESC) to support device availability, connectivity and educator capacity across 30 Hoosier school districts. The Project Coordinator works to provide overall project management, communication and instructional technology support to the cross functional teams working on this project.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages digital communications tools and platforms necessary to ensure effectiveness of the project
  • Manage the communication between partners and across school district
  • Relay information from government agencies, pertaining to the execution of the project
  • Track timelines and respond promptly to requests for assistance
  • Provides oversight to ensure compliance with MOU expectations, grant requirements and university policy
  • Collect and manage data from school districts
  • Represents CELL in a variety of meetings and activities


QUALIFICATIONS

  • An Associate’s Degree (or equivalent education), with effective communication skills required
  • Completion of an undergraduate degree is strongly preferred - ideally in education, technology or project management/business
  • Experience with project management, task tracking, instructional technology and/or strong IT skills are strongly desirable
  • Drivers license and a clean or acceptable driving record required
