Position Summary:

Primarily prepares, reviews, approves, and advises on a variety of complex financial transactions. Reconciles transactions. Maintains financial records, provides administrative processing support, and provides customer service for staff and customers in an assigned program area to support program financial management. Recommends controls and process improvements and troubleshoots complex financial errors. This position is one of two staff who provide financial and purchasing support for all of the units of the Arboretum. Processes bi-weekly and monthly payrolls. Provides administrative support to the Arboretum Director.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Two or more years of experience in finance, accounting, and/or business-related field. Experience with purchasing policies and procedures.Ability to create and revise spreadsheets and reports, enter and edit program data, and use other softwares to record, analyze, and summarize data. Experience with payrolls and administrative support preferred.
