Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor (Accounting) (PR0083/20-21)

Applications in all accounting fields will be considered. Preference will be given to applicants with expertise in one or more of the following areas: Financial Accounting, Taxation, Auditing, and Accounting Information Systems.

Applicants should have a relevant PhD degree. Applicants for Professor/Associate Professor ranks should also have a strong track record of research and teaching accomplishments. Appointees are expected to teach programmes at various levels (undergraduate, taught postgraduate, and PhD programmes), conduct high-quality research work, and supervise postgraduate theses. Fresh PhD graduates are expected to submit their applications before the closing date. Applications from other candidates will be processed throughout the year until the positions are filled.

Initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of up to three years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding. Outstanding candidates at Associate Professor or above rank may be considered for tenure on appointment.

Remuneration package includes retirement/gratuity benefits, annual leave, medical and dental scheme, housing assistance and relocation allowance wherever appropriate.

Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
