Position Summary: This position provides the technical support for the continued growth and quality of Media Production and Audio Visual Services.

Duties and Responsibilities: Maintains the physical plant of the television facility including system design, installation, documentation, maintenance, modification, and updating of current systems to meet changing needs. Assists in planning the most cost-effective equipment upgrade paths. Assists during video productions to assure the highest quality picture and sound recording from the location or initial shooting of the video through the video edit, insuring all systems function correctly. Provides training to staff on the operation of new hardware and software. Program the PEG cable channel system. Assist with installing, programming, and troubleshooting AV equipment at events and in classrooms. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of three years experience in audio and video broadcast equipment installation and repair.

Preferred Qualifications: Associate's Degree or higher in a related field. Five years experience in audio and visual broadcast equipment installation and repair.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Work Characteristics: Computer application skills in software installation, upkeep, and system management. Organization skills, excellent oral and written skills and ability to work effectively with a diverse group of people. Knowledge/skills in professional video/audio installation, system maintenance and repair.

Pay Rate: 32,600.00 - 39,120.00 annual salary depending on experience
