Jefferson College is seeking a highly qualified and motivated full-time, tenure-track, English faculty member who is student-centered and committed to innovative teaching, academic advising, institutional service, and community service. The individual selected to join Jefferson College’s excellent full-time faculty will demonstrate commitment to assessing student learning outcomes and using technology to enhance the learning process. The teaching load for this position is five three-credit English courses each semester. This is a tenure track position.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in English or closely related discipline is required; graduate level English coursework beyond master’s degree preferred. Evidence of effective college-level teaching and assessment of student-learning outcomes is required. Community college teaching and experience with remedial education is preferred. Documentation of content-rich and engaging English instruction is critical.
