Position Summary

Working within the dynamic office of Student Support Services ( SSS ), you would be responsible for various office tasks including:

• Providing office reception and scheduling advising appointments;
• Maintaining records of financial transactions and services provided to students;
• Updating the UBLearns portal; and Processing purchases and payments.

SSS is a federally funded TRIO grant program and is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education serving low-income, first-generation students and/or students with documented disabilities.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED .
• Two years of experience in secretarial or customer service.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with diverse populations and conduct presentations to a variety of audiences.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Suite, Publisher and other desktop publishing software.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of three years of experience in education-related field including work with diverse student populations.
