Assistant Director - Women's Success Center
Position Category: Staff - Full-Time
Summary:
The Women's Success Center is seeking an Assistant Director. This role will assist in directing the department with specific focus on scholarship administration, data management, and supervision of full-time staff.
Roles and Responsibiities
30% Assists the Senior Director in meeting the objectives of the strategic plan.
20% Supervises and trains full-time staff encouraging professional development and promoting accountability.
20% Oversees administration of scholarships for the Women's Success Center including securing awards, collecting applications, coordinating the selection process, notifying recipients, maintaining records, and managing accounts. 20% Oversees administration of Women's Success Center programming including providing support to programs and events, reviewing and evaluating programs to continuously improve effectiveness and learning outcomes.
10% Other job duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in a directly related field and two years experience related to the Summary of Duties or a combination of education and/or experience totaling six years.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of current research regarding women’s issues in higher education.
- Knowledge of best practices related to female student recruitment and persistence.
- Skills in leadership and employee development.
- Skills in written and verbal communication. * Skills in bookkeeping and budget management.
- Ability to foster and build cooperative work environments.
- Ability to operate with maturity, professional demeanor, tact and diplomacy.
- Ability to prioritize and to change priorities as needs arise.
- Ability to work in an office environment with minimum supervision.
- Ability to collaborate with and relate to a diverse group of
students, faculty, and staff.
*Project and program management skills including development, implementation, management, and evaluation
*Demonstrated skill set centered on cultural awareness, group dynamics, and leadership development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree
Physical Requirements:
Work is performed in a normal office environment.
