Instructional Design Specialist

Instructional Design Specialist for the Acute Surgical Pain Management Fellowship (ASPMF) and DNAP Completion Program.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of two (2) years of prior instructional design experience
  • Experience working in higher education desirable
  • Excellent computer and technical skills
  • Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with Brightspace Leaning Management System is preferred
  • Familiarity with full Microsoft Office 365 suite
  • Knowledge of adult learning methodologies
  • Basic knowledge of photography/videography and corresponding editing skills preferred
  • Positive and collaborative attitude able to deal successfully with a diverse group of users, faculty, staff and students 

Responsibilities:

  • Ongoing content revision for ASPM Fellowship and DNAP Completion programs
  • Enhance and maintain ASPMF alumni subscription content
  • Coordinate enrollment of new subscribers and provide LMS support to ASPMF alumni
  • Schedule and support faculty in synchronous events
  • Edit and transcribe synchronous event video content
  • Provide basic LMS and Office 365 support for faculty and students
  • Assist ASPMF/DNAP-C Program Assistant streamline department processes
  • Participate/assist with school wide events
  • Other duties as assigned by the ASPMF and DNAP Completion Program Director

Reporting:

Reports to Director, ASPM Fellowship & DNAP Completion Program

Committee Involvement:                

  • MTSA Staff Committee member
