Executive Chair, Clinical Sciences

Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science welcomes applications for its next Executive Chair of the Department of Clinical Sciences. Chicago Medical School is a 108-year-old community based medical school and one of five postgraduate health profession colleges within Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, which places a unique emphasis on interprofessional training and is located in the beautiful north shore area and diverse community of North Chicago. 

Chicago Medical School is seeking an experienced leader to serve as Executive Chair of our multidisciplinary Clinical Sciences Department. This Chair will ensure high-quality clinical education and academic achievement, as demonstrated in medical student outcomes, faculty engagement, and scholarly productivity. The successful candidate will be responsible for hiring and mentoring faculty, expanding clinical affiliations, nurturing student professional development, and fostering inclusion and interprofessionalism. In partnership with administrative leaders, the Executive Chair will develop and implement a strategic plan for continued growth and quality in clinical education. Candidates should have an MD or DO degree with Board Certification in any medical specialty.
