The Austin E. Cofrin School of Business (CSB) at the
University of Wisconsin-Green Bay seeks applicants for a
tenure-track position in Business Administration, specializing in
Entrepreneurship. The Austin E. Cofrin School of Business values
university-level teaching experience, the ability to teach a
variety of classes in the Entrepreneurship curriculum, engagement
of entrepreneurial leaders to enhance student learning, and
engagement in institutional, community, and professional
service.
This position includes the following responsibilities:
- Teach a normal teaching load in Entrepreneurship, primarily at the undergraduate level, a course on “Disruptive Innovation” in the executive Impact MBA program, with growing opportunities for teaching additional graduate courses. Teaching will be both face-to-face and online.
- Lead, in partnership with CSB leadership, ongoing efforts to establish a Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEI).
- Mentor the CEO student organization and assist with establishing the Student Run Business Organization (SRBO).
- Develop a strong research program involving collaboration with students, faculty.
- Advise students.
- Perform scholarly activities consistent with rank.
- Perform institutional, community, and professional service.
- Contribute to ongoing programmatic development of the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business.
- Participate fully in AACSB accreditation efforts.
- Build productive corporate and community partnerships.
The successful candidate will be expected to work inclusively and

In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to display a

effectively with a diverse array of students, colleagues,
community, and professional partners. Additionally, the candidate
should be able to facilitate and manage students engaged in
student-run enterprises. Building and leveraging relationships with
successful leaders from the start-up community to enhance the
classroom learning experience will be highly valued.
- Earned doctorate in Business, or closely related field, with specialization in Entrepreneurship from an AACSB accredited institution. ABD candidates will be considered; however, an earned doctorate in Business, or closely related field, with specialization in Entrepreneurship from an AACSB accredited institution is a necessary condition for contract renewal. ABD candidates will be hired into a terminal appointment at the rank of Instructor with a rate determined at the time of hire. Upon degree conferral during the terminal period, the contracted appointment with the rank of Assistant Professor will be reinstated.
All final candidates must be asked, prior to hire, whether they have been found to have engaged in, are currently under investigation for, or left employment during an active investigation in which they were accused of sexual violence or sexual harassment. When obtaining employment reference checks, these same sexual violence or sexual harassment questions must also be asked. Salary Competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
