The Rosemead School of Psychology at Biola University is conducting a search for several full-time faculty positions to begin in August 2021. Strong candidates will demonstrate interest and background in one or more of the following areas: clinical interventions, experimental psychology and research methods, physiological psychology, the integration of psychology and theology, and/or online teaching. Applicants who bring diverse racial and ethnic perspectives to their teaching and scholarship are especially encouraged to apply.

We are seeking three types of candidates:

1) Clinical faculty candidates who are expected to teach primarily graduate courses in our APA accredited doctoral programs, mentor research, advise students, and provide clinical supervision. We anticipate that successful clinical applicants will hold a PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology, and be licensed or license-eligible to practice psychology in California.

2) Psychology faculty with discipline specific knowledge who will teach undergraduate courses in experimental psychology to traditional students, and physiological psychology to both undergraduate and graduate students. Successful applicants should hold or be in the process of pursuing a PhD in physiological psychology or cognitive neuroscience. Priority will be given to candidates with teaching experience and a record of successful scholarship.

3) Psychology instructor who will teach in our online, Applied Psychology Bachelor of Science program. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for working with adult learners as well as the integration of psychology and theology. This individual should have online teaching experience, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to engaging online teaching. The successful candidate will work with the Program Director to assess curriculum, student learning, and program outcomes.
