Position Summary:

This position entails biostatistical support for epidemiological and clinical trials of eye diseases.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Master's degree in biostatistics, statistics, public health or related field with an emphasis in biostatistics.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

- Experience with biostatistical testing such as sample size calculations, T tests, ANOVA and regression modeling is required.
- Experience with management and analysis of clinical trial data at a central coordinating center, or imaging data, or large public research datasets, or longitudinal cohort data is preferred.
- 2 years of experience is preferred.

Prefix assignment determined by years of relevant work experience.

Additional Information:

Knowledge and Skills required:
- Proficiency with R or another major statistical package such as SAS, STATA, or S-Plus is required.
- Ability to apply statistical techniques, summarize results and produce reports is required.
- Excellent communication skills are required.

Knowledge and Skills preferred:
- Familiar with Xml, Excel, SQL is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and have excellent time management skills are preferred.

A criminal background check will be conducted.
