Job Summary

The CoLab Support Assistant is a basic technology tutor for JCCC students needing educational technology support in the Collaboration Center. This position is responsible for initial assistance with a range of ed tech topics, and for escalation of issues to higher-level support when necessary.

Required Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving/troubleshooting skills
• Customer service skills
• Interpersonal skills
• Communication skills
• Knowledge and comfort with various technology tools
• Interest in and ability for learning and demonstrating technology
• Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
•High school graduate or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Video publishing and basic video editing
• WordPress or other website/blog tools
• Experience with Voice recording tools

Monday - Saturday, hours will vary between 8:00a.m. - 9:00p.m.
