Student Services Specialist



Responsibilities:

  • Provide front desk clerical support for the Student Service Center, with primary responsibility for the Registrar's Office functions.
  • Greet visitors and answer calls to the Student Service Center. Respond to the needs of students, faculty, staff and others at the counter and on the phone.
  • Perform registration functions and solve registration problems for students and faculty.
  • Assist students (and their parents, when applicable) from all different campuses with inquiries on their student account, payments, registration, transcripts, 1098T mailings, and other Student Account and Registrar office functions in person, by phone, or by email.


Requirements:

  • Data entry experience and strong skills with technology and computer programs is essential.
  • A team player who enjoys working with the public and solving problems for people.
  • Must be able to handle several tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Two years of secretarial or clerical experience is required.
  • An Associate's Degree in a related field is desirable, and may be substituted for part of the experience.
  • Computer skills are essential. Knowledge of word processing, database and spreadsheet software, particularly MS Office, is a plus.


Working Hours: Monday through Friday 8:30a.m. to 4:30p.m.
