Position: The department of Business Administration is seeking applicants for one tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Business Administration, specializing in Finance to start August 2021.  This position is for full-time appointment on a nine-month contract.  This is a unique opportunity to craft business programs in a public liberal arts setting at an institution that is nationally recognized for the quality of its teaching and students.

The successful candidate will teach undergraduate Finance courses and develop curriculum that prepares students for success in the rapidly evolving world of business.  In addition, the successful candidate will engage in scholarship, mentor students, and provide service to the university and community.

The position requires a PhD in Finance or a closely related field, completed by the August 2021 start date, for the rank of Assistant Professor.

Applicants will be evaluated based on academic qualifications, teaching philosophy and experience, commitment to student success and development, potential for scholarship, interpersonal skills, and compatibility with department needs.

The Program:  The Department of Business Administration, a unit within the School of Business, offers a BA and BS in Business Administration, with concentrations in Finance, Marketing, Management and International Business.  Additionally, the School of Business offers a BS in Accounting and a minor in Business. The School of Business sustains numerous, thriving co-curricular programs, including student chapter of Beta Alpha Psi, the Bulldog Student Investment Fund and a business plan competition.  The School of Business holds both business and accounting accreditation from Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International, the premier global accreditation body. This distinction has only been achieved by approximately 1.5% of universities worldwide.
