Job Description: The Geography Department is seeking effective, collaborative, and enthusiastic teachers who are committed to teaching Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS) skills at the community college level. Adjunct faculty must have the ability to develop course materials and deliver instruction to a diverse range of students.

Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in geography, GIS (Geographic Information Systems), or related field.

Experience Requirements: Current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Remote Pilot Certificate since at least 2018. At least 2 years remote pilot experience in civil, educational, or commercial sectors. College level teaching experience or demonstrated ability to teach subject matter. A minimum of three years of experience in the field within the last 5 years is a plus. Experience in GIS/remote sensing, teaching in multiple modalities (face to face, hybrid, online) and both multirotor and fixed-wing sUAS is a strong plus.
