Applications are invited for appointment as Senior Lecturer in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref.: 502284) from November 1, 2020 or from as soon as possible, on a three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
Applicants should have a doctoral degree in counseling/behavior health/social work with a minimum of five years of teaching experience in these areas and strong record of teaching and program administration. The appointee will be responsible for teaching at both undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels and administrating the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary. Housing benefits will be provided as applicable.
